Yesterday i found myself too tired to do anything useful on my website.
So i went to bed early and slept very well until i woke up around midnight.
After some coffee i really felt in the mood to get started on a new theme for my site. My site is powered by the WordPress platform, which is great because it relieves me of doing most of the HTML, PHP, and CSS coding.
That’s why i was able to get my website up and running in one day.
A theme is just something i install on my website to give it the look and feel that i want.
It’s the layout and other stuff which makes up all the visual aspects of my site.
Via WordPress, i can choose between thousands of free themes based upon colours, and other stuff like custom header or even fully customisable themes for more advanced users.
That’s precisely the kind of theme i have going on now on here, a fully customisable theme with over 200 options to choose from.
I am very satisfied with the way my website looks right now, except maybe for the dashed border around my top navigation menu.
I tried to get rid of it but it must be hardcoded in the theme’s stylesheets.
It’s the most modern and most customisable theme i could find and i am very pleased with so if nothing comes up which will annoy me in the visual arena of my site, i am gonna stick wiht it for quite a while. So all i gotta do now is start adding content and start bloggin.
